Give children a city

In China, children's creative ability is being obliterated by the education with the only purpose of passing examinations. In the families with only children, busy parents do not allow their children to do housework or play games, but force them to study hard. All parents expect their children to be talents in future. However, on the one hand, they often dote on their kids; on the other hand, they have no knowledge of education. In daily life, everything is prepared by parents and children's personality cannot be respected, because the are often scolded by their parents. As a result, children will be influenced in psychology and characteristic during the course of growing up. Children are short of confidence, responsibility and love. They are imposed on onerous studying task when they are very young so that they have no chance to improve their basic ability.BR> BR> 2. In this project, a matrix-shaped city is composed of many children's houses. In this city, each child has his own house. Between the houses, there're streets and central square; under the house, there're the living place of parents and the other houses with special functions. Every house is a box in which there're various colors and kinds of mobile furniture like toy building blocks. Having initiative and independence as the hosts of the houses, children develop their imagination to create their own space.BR> BR> 3. In the modern city, under the influence of industrialization, streets and squares have become the equipment for organizing vehicle. In this children's city, outside also becomes their activity place. Being transportation on their own, they can go here and there together pushing their mobile furniture. What's more, they can play in central square enjoying perfect sunshine and fresh air. All the children are given an open space in the city and they must solve some problems by themselves, such as something on relationship and self-providing.BR> BR> 4. Living in this city, children's happiness and inspiration will not be constrained and they can develop excellent personality with confidence, optimism and responsibility. This city seems to say to children constantly, "You're great!BR>" BR>
